Please note that this calculator generates an “indicative estimate” and should not be used or referenced as a quote. For an accurate estimate, please contact us to discuss your bathroom renovation.
The types of bathroom renovations for the calculator are:

A simple bathroom renovation can make a huge difference in the space. It may include swapping-out tapware and mixers, painting the walls and ceiling, upgrading the extractor fan. Simple bathroom renovations do not include changing the layout or additions.
2. Mid-Range Bathroom Renovation
A step up from a cosmetic bathroom renovation. It may include replacing – tapware and mixers, toilet – upgrade the bath tub, vanity, heated towel rail and lights to LED’s – all to reaming in their current locations.
3. Custom Bathroom Renovation
Removal of all existing wall and ceiling linings and replace with new. Change the layout of the bathroom. Full floor to ceilings tiles, replace all bathroom wares with high quality fixtures, replace all lights with LEDs, and install underfloor heating.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.
Can I do the demolition myself?
Yes, you can undertake the none structural demolition yourself. However, ripping out old tiles, lining and bathroom wares isn’t fun. You have to be mindful to avoid damaging pipes or electrical work. However, it will save you about $1,000 but be aware, it can cost you more if something goes wrong.
Do I need a building consent to renovate my bathroom?
Renovating a bathroom does not require a building consent unless there are alterations to the buildings structure such as removal of a wall, or the addition of a shower, hand basin, and toilet to a bathroom or ensuite, as these bathroom fixtures are additional to those already existing in the home.
